Cape Cod Tree & Landscape Inc. is excited to announce that we have moved to a new location at 39 George Ryder Road in West Chatham! Stop by and say hello!

Celebrate the New Year all month!

First Night Chatham: Main Street, Chatham, Dec. 31st. Some of Chatham's First Night outdoor activities may be canceled due to weather but the festivities are still on! Many of the events will be held indoors, so don't let the cold scare you away. The many performances include Chinese Folk Art Dancers, Alex the Jester, Live Story Telling, and numerous musical entertainments such as: Cape Cod Fiddlers, Shaun England Band, Community Hand Bell Ringers, Four Guys in Tuxes Swing Band, M.A.D. Jazz and much more!

New Year’s Day Polar Bear Plunges!

Due to frigid temperatures that might deter even a polar bear from taking a wintery dip, some or all of the Polar Bear Plunges maybe postponed. Please check your local listing for updates.

Barnstable Harbor New Year’s Day Splash: Mill Way Beach, Barnstable Village, Jan. 1, 12PM. ​ Commemorative event t-shirts will be on sale. ​Participants should plan to arrive early.

FOYCOA Polar Plunge: Bass River Beach, South Shore Drive, South Yarmouth, Jan. 1, 12 – 2PM. Dive into the freezing cold ocean to support the Yarmouth Senior Center.

Mashpee Polar Bear Club: Loop Beach, Ocean View Avenue, Cotuit, Jan. 1, 12PM, (early arrival suggested) for the 14th Annual “Freezin for a Reason” plunge! The first 50 people to make a $25.00 donation to aid the family of an individual undergoing treatment for renal cell carcinoma will receive a 2018 Polar Bear beach towel. If you can’t make the event but would like to contribute to this year’s cause may mail their tax deductible donation to: The Polar Bear Club,18 Jackson Drive, Cotuit, MA, 20625.

Monument Beach Polar Bear Club New Year’s Day Swim: Monument Beach, Shore Road, Bourne, Jan. 1, 12PM . $20 donation includes event t-shirt and a “certificate of bravery”. Warm up with a hot bowl of chowder at the follow-up gathering at the Weary Travelers Club, 77 Valley Bars Road.

Provincetown Polar Bear Plunge: Johnson’s Street Parking Lot, Provincetown Harbor, Jan. 1, 12 – 12:30PM. Brave the chilly waters or stick to the sidelines and cheer on the polar bears! This 3rd annual plunge is sponsored by the 8 Dryer Hotel and Yolqueria, and the Harbor Lounge. Afterwards, go to the Harbor Lounge for cocktails and hot beverages, chili, and music!

Cape Symphony New Year's Day Party: Barnstable Performing Arts Center 744 West Main Street, Hyannis, Jan. 1st, 3 – 5PM. Celebrate the New Year with Jung-Ho and the Cape Symphony musicians, joined by singer/songwriter Jimmy Webb and the late Glen Campbell’s daughter, Ashley.

Champagne Reception for First Light Fireworks: Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, 1 High Pole Hill Rd, Jan. 1, 4 – 6PM. The Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum hosts a Champagne Reception which will also offer wine, oysters, and various hors d’oeuvres and features fireworks overlooking the harbor.
