Cape Cod Tree and Landscape was started as a full time business in 2008 and owner Chris Smith offered landscaping services part time to customers in the years prior to opening CCT&L.
Cape Cod Tree and Landscape was honored to be named 2017 and 2018 Best Landscaping Company by Cape Cod Magazine and was awarded with the Norm Edinberg Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship by the Community Development Partnership as well as official recognition and honors from MA State House of Representatives and the MA State Senate. We strive to be active members in our community and promote local business.
Cape Cod Tree and Landscape is a full service landscaping company servicing the Lower Cape that offers a variety of services including maintenance, lawn care, tree services, gardening, brush removal, snow removal, firewood sales and dump runs. CCT&L is a family owned and operated business. CCT&L is a fully insured landscaping company.
CCT&L values the continuing education of our employees. Our staff attends trainings and conferences frequently to keep up with the newest theories and best practices in the field.

Sales & Administration
Owner Chris Smith prides himself on being a life long "Cape Codder" coming from a long line of Cape Codders. Chris graduated from the Horticulture program at Cape Cod Community College. He has a background in landscaping, tree work, and sales. Chris heads the sales team and oversees the landscaping and tree crews. Chris is very active in local committees and associations. He has strong network of local business connections and is happy to make referrals for your property's needs. This past year Chris was the President of Best Won BNI group and on the board of directors on the Chatham Merchant' Association.
Owner Virginia Smith has a background in Education and Banking. Virginia is CCT&L's Operations Manager and also oversees the Lawn Crew Division. Virginia specializes in marketing and bringing the newest technology to CCT&L. She continues to add new tech features for our customers' convenience. Between running operations and caring for their two young boys who play hockey, Virginia makes time for networking events and marketing conferences. Virginia is also on the board of directors for the Chatham Merchant's Association.
Kirsten is the head of the Gardening and Maintenance Dept. She has overseen our gardening division for the past 5 seasons. Kirsten is also on our sales team and provides consultations for gardening design, maintenance and installations. Kirsten found her passion for gardening 15 years ago when she moved to the Cape and made it her career. Kirsten is native to the Berkshires and is raising 3 boys on the Cape. Kirsten loves the creative design aspect of gardening and she is very knowledgeable with plants and flowers!
Beth is our Administrative Assistant who often takes your calls and emails. Her work history includes many years experience as an owner or managerial level employee in various industries. Beth's career highlights include: managing editor, editor, and contributor for several publications. Beth is one of our blog writers and she currently owns and operates a small independent publishing house. Additionally, Beth is the author of a historical fiction book series.
Danielle is our Morning Office Receptionist. During the morning hours, Danielle takes your calls and emails. She is starting her second season with Cape Cod Tree and Landscape. Danielle has many years of office experience and with customer service in the septic and medical fields. Danielle and her husband of Harwich, have one son and she is a big Country Music fan.
Tom joined us this season as our new Assistant Operations Manager. He will be assisting in scheduling jobs, providing quality control visits to the properties we maintain, over-seeing our truck and equipment maintenance schedule. Tom comes to us with extensive experience as a manger in the utility industry. Tom is a New England Sports Fan and coached youth baseball for 15 years. Tom and his family reside in Dennis.
