Rockin’ Round the Christmas Tree: Drummer Boy Park, Route 6-A, Brewster, Dec. 1, begins at 4PM. The holidays arrive at the Drummer Boy Park with a Christmas Tree lighting, (wind mill lighting, too!) carols, Santa Claus, doughnuts and cider.
The Train to Christmas Town Departing from Buzzards Bay: Buzzards Bay Depot, 70 Main St., Buzzards Bay. Starts Thanksgiving Weekend. See website for dates. 3:30, 5:30 & 7:30PM. Tickets: $25 - $75
Brewster Band Holiday Concert: Brewster Baptist Church, 1848 Main St., Brewster, Dec. 1, 7PM.
The Cape Cod Enchanted Village: Cape Codder Resort & Spa in Hyannis, begins Dec. 1 at dusk. See Santa’s Village, thousands of lights, snowmen, and warm yourselves the bonfire (weather permitting). Feel free to bring a new toy, nonperishable food or a gift card for the “Giving Tree”. (Donations benefit the Independence House in Hyannis.) The Cape Cod Surftones (12/9) and the Regency Brass Ensemble (12/2, 12/16 & 12/23) will perform live music on Saturdays at 7PM. Santa will visit Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 5 – 8PM, December 1st through the 23rd.

Santa Stampede 5K and Family Fun Run: The Barley Neck Inn, 5 Beach Rd., Orleans, Dec. 2, Registration 9AM, Race starts at 10:30AM. Walkers welcome. Don your best holiday costume and hit the road! Prizes for Fastest Mr. Claus, Ms. Claus, and Mini Claus; Overall Fastest in holiday costume: Male and Female; Holiday Costume Winner (bib required). Pre-registration $25. Registration at event $30. Hyannis Village Christmas Stroll: Main Street, Hyannis, Dec. 2, 11AM – 3PM. Breakfast with Santa at the British Beer Company (9 and 10:30AM seatings), skating at the “Little Lorusso Skating Rink” (use loaners or bring your own skates), watch an ice scuplturer at work at the JFK Museum, magicians, horse drawn carriage rides, scavenger hunt, music, and the list goes on! Christmas Trolley Ride: Harwich Chamber of Commerce, 1 School House Road, Harwichport, Dec. 2 & 3, see website for times. Embark on a Christmas Trolley ride across town from the Harwich Chamber of Commerce to the Harwich Cultural Center. Listen to Santa read “Polar Express” and make an ornament! Admission: $5. Santa Arrives at Chatham Fish Pier: Shore Rd, Chatham, Dec. 3, 1:30 -2PM. The Chatham Coast Guard Station crew gives Santa a lift to the Fish Pier!
Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster Hosts Brewster for the Holidays 11th Annual Holiday Party: 869 Main St., Brewster, Dec. 3, 2-4PM. Santa arrives at 2:15PM, refreshments, crafts and activities for children, music and so much more! If the spirits moves you, please bring a non-perishable food item for the food pantry.
Breakfast with Santa at the West Barnstable Fire Dept: 2160 Meetinghouse Way, West Barnstable, Dec. 3, 8AM – 12PM.
First Parish Brewster Unitarian Universalist Meeting House, Main St., Brewster, Dec. 3, 12-3PM. Browse the wares of local bakers, vendors, and crafters! A gift wrap station will be available to wrap your purchases!
8th Annual Glassblowers’ Christmas: Sandwich Glass Museum, 129 Main St., Sandwich, Daily through Dec. 30. Hundreds of amazing handmade glass holiday ornaments will be on display in the Contemporary Galley. Each one is the creation of a local glass artisan. Adults: $9 Children 6-14 $2, (children under six are free).
Gardens Aglow: A Treasured Holiday Tradition Heritage Museums and Gardens, 67 Grove Street, Sandwich, runs daily through Dec. 22, 4:30 to 8:30PM. Chatham Christmas Stroll: Main Street, Chatham, Dec. 8, begins at 5:45PM with parade and then the 6PM tree lighting ceremony at Kate Gould Park. Musical entertainment, special sales, giveaways, raffles, and, of course, Santa! So much to see and do!
